Island Palms Resort owns 3 vehicles exclusively for in-house guests.
Our current prices are the cheapest on the Island for an equivalent type of vehicle.
We currently have 3 x 4 door cars seating 5 passengers. All cars are automatic and air-conditioned.
Infant/child car seats & booster seats available – supplies limited. Additional child restraints can be pre-organised, hire fees apply.
Access areas that are not on the bus route like watching the sunset at West Point and then out to dinner on another part of the Island. Travel the island without having to keep to a bus timetable.
We gladly take advance bookings for weekly car bookings only – daily bookings are subject to availability on arrival.

We offer a free pick up from the terminal if your ferry arrives between 9-5 Saturday (weekly bookings only).
We will also drop you off at the ferry terminal for the 8:25am, 9:30am or 10:05am ferry departure.

The Fine Print # Bookings taken in good faith, but if one or more of the vehicles becomes unusable prior to your arrival, we are not responsible for finding you a replacement vehicle. Vehicle type may change anytime we purchase replacements, but passenger capacity will remain unchanged. Weekly bookings commence from 2pm, car must be returned by 10am on return date. Receive car fully fuelled, you replace used fuel – extra charges apply if not done. Vehicle to be returned in same condition in which it was issued which might involve cleaning the vehicle – charges apply if we need to do this. $1500 Costs & Excess applies for damages, irrespective of who caused the damage. Payment in full to be made at commencement of hire. Valid Credit Card details required. Driver must be over 25 & held a car license for 2yrs or more. Access on the Radical Bay Road by car is NOT PERMITTED. Access to West Point is subject to road conditions at the time. Transport of vehicle off Magnetic Island is not permitted.
